The Attack on San Antonio December 5, 1835: the Texans led by Ben Milam launched another attack. Theattack raged on for five days and when fighting stopped, General Cos raised a white flag of surrender
The Battle of the Alamo February 23, 1836 – March 6, 1836: most Texans thought the threat to Texas had ended Cos was in retreat after the attack on San Antonio leaving no Mexican troops in Texas
Fall of the Alamo march 6, 1836: for 13 day the fight went for. one day 1800 mexican troops surrounded the alamo. mexico put up a blood red flag. mexico attacked the alamo and 90 min. in to the fight the alamo fell.
Causalities and Survivors: 189 Texans and 600 Mexican were killed. Santa Anna spared the women, slaves and children. Susanna Dickinson was sent to tell what happen at the alamo.
Texas Declares Independence Dec. 29, 1845: people where meeting to discuss the fate of Texas. Delegates met at Washington-on-the-Brazos for the second time. the meeting was known as the Convention of 1836. On March 2, 1836, the delegates declared Texas independent from Mexico
