- Backstory: The Kelly's Family, comprising Mike, a high school student, and his Grandpa John, is facing financial troubles. After losing his parents in a car accident four years ago, John became Mike's guardian. They managed to maintain a decent lifestyle with John's job at a gas station and the money from Mike's parents. However, the funds have depleted, and John, too old to continue working at the gas station, has decided to retire.Mike, feeling frustrated. Questions God.
- Some may call it coincidence, Mike, but I believe it was an act of God. Winning the lottery today reminds me of that moment. It's a reminder that there's something greater than us, guiding us even in the smallest of ways.
- Maybe you're right, Grandpa. Maybe there is something more to this world than what meets the eye.
- That's incredible! But how did that happen?
- Believing in God doesn't mean having all the answers, Mike. It means having faith, even when life seems uncertain. Sometimes, events occur that can't be explained logically, and those are the moments that strengthen our belief.
- I think I'm starting to understand, Grandpa. Maybe it's time for me to have a little faith too.
