This is the town of Pateros, considered as one of the smallest area in Metro Manila. This municipality is known for its rich culture and for its duck-industry.
However, while I'm walking on my way home pieces of garbage are scattered all around the area: in the streets, and the road.
*sigh* This is quite saddening. Don't they know how to dispose trash properly?
That is why this problem caught our attention. Our group then went to the mayor to ask questions about this issue.
Mayor! What can you say about the issue of garbage in Pateros?
Actually, the government of Pateros implemented policies regarding the issue like the schedule of garbage collection. But sad to say, some people are still not following these regulations. They do not know the consequences of their neglection. I just want to give advice and persuade everyone that by starting simple acts of proper waste management can help the environment.
