In the beginning of this story a prisoner gets out of the dungeon that Daedalus built and King Minos blames Daedalus and Daedalus gets held as prisoner and realizes he needs to get off this island as soon as possible.
Daedalus breaks out of the dungeon and decides how he's going to leave this island and it's by wind.
Okay, how are we going to do that?
Hey, we need to leave this island as soon as possible.
Okay, I'll be done by tomorrow morning and we can leave.
Dad, I got some feathers for the wings!
I finished the wings but there is a couple of rules I need you to follow before we can leave. Number one you have to stay by me the whole time and number two you can not go higher than the clouds or else your wax will melt and you will fall.
Okay lets get flying!
ICARUS GET DOWN HERE NOW!!
Icarus got so carried off he went above the clouds breaking the second rule his dad gave him and the wax started to melt.
Daedalus tries to rescue his son but doesn't make it to him in time and Icarus falls into the ocean and didn't survive.
