  • Bacon signs a contract for 3 to 7 years to become a indentured servant. As a indentured servant, very few rights are given to Nathaniel Bacon. 
  • Bacon And His Militia Head To Villages
  • Bacon finds it hard to live a comfortable life. He has very few land, money and rights. Bacon talks to Governor Berkeley of the Jamestown Colony enraged that Berkeley refused to remove Native Americans on the west. He disliked this idea because he wanted land from Native Americans for his own.
  • Bacon's Militia Arrives
  • Bacon sets up militia composing of both white and African american men in order to destroy native american villages
  • Bacon's Militia Arrives at House of Burgesses 
  • The year Bacon imposes rebellion is 1676.
  • Bacon's militia sets fire to Native Americans homes and villages
  • Bacon's militia then sets fire to the House of Burgess's. The militia then runs Berkeley out of Jamestown.
