Storyboard Text

  • See that rock! There is frozen water lodged in between causing the rock to crack in half. That is the first step in weathering.
  • The rocks after being broken up flowed down this river and over millions of years carved out this sediment to form a river. This is called erosion.
  • The river then carries all of this sediment to the mouth of the river where it forms a delta. The sediment settles down which is called deposition.
  • The worms are utilizing the decayed organic material for nutrition. They eat the once living plants and animals! The world would be very gross if we didn't have decomposers.
  • Thank you for joining us as we journeyed across the globe looking at the external forces. See you next time.
