This is the four components of natural selection
Genetic variation is when there are differences in a species like when one lizard is brown matching his environment or in the event of mutation.
The struggle for survival the green lizards due to their mutation are green being easy to prey on while the brown lizards are more camouflaged the brown lizards are more likely to pass on their genes
The one more equip will pass on their genes to the next generation seeing they survived long info to find a mate and the green lizard now as more fitness thanks to this new environment.
Due to change in environment the green lizards now have more fitness than the brown lizards and over time their will be a change in the gene pool favoring green and not brown.
