  • Rosa parks most famous moment was when she was arrested when she refused to surrender her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama, bus to a white passenger. The arrest led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, a seminal event in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, and was a defining moment in parks' long career as an activist.

  • Martin Luther Kings famous moment or speech was the I Have a Dream speech in 1963, in which he spoke of his dream of a United States that is void of segregation and racism.
