  • Valley Forge
  • The leader that led the Americans was Captain John Parker, while the leader of the British was General Gage. The battle took place in Massachusetts on April, 1775. The Americans won the Lexington and Concord 
  • Guerrilla Fighting 
  • The British won the Bunker Hill battle. The leader of the Americans was Colonel William Prescott, while General William Howe was the leader of the British. The battle took place in Massachusetts on June, 1775. 
  • Charles Town 
  • The leader of the Americans was George Washington. This battle took place on Pennsylvania on winter, 1777-78. The Americans won this battle, and they proved to be a turning point in the Revolutionary War.
  • Battle of Yorktown
  • The leader of the Americans was Francis Marion known as "The Swamp fox". The British leader was General Lord Cornwallis. The Battle took place in North and South Carolina. The British won the battle, 
  • The leader of the British was General Sir Henry Clinton. This battle took place in South Carolina on 1780. The British won, and the American surrendered to the British, so unable to win a deceive battle in the northern states. 
  • General George Washington was the leader of the American army, while General Lord Charles Cornwallis was the leader of the British army. This battle took place in Virginia, on 1781. The significance of the conflict was that Cornwallis surrendered to Washington as French and American forces trapped the British at Yorktown, and it ended the Revolutionary War.
