The slaves and indentured servants are working hard while the gentlemen don't pitch in.
James Town was located on a swamp which had alot of mosquitos
The Plantations produced cash crops of tobacco so they could export the crops to England and make a lot of money.
Why is it surprising that Jamestown was a success?
It is surprising that Jamestown was a success because they decided to build Jamestown in a swamp which was by Indians and they also got a bunch of diseases
