  • The French building Fort Duquesne angered Robert Dwindle, the British governor of Virginia.
  • George! I command you to go and attack the French force. Get your allies and build a force. You will lead them.
  • The desire for the Ohio River Valley between the French and the British caused a lot of tension.
  • Yes, sir!

  • We must fight back.
  • We've defeated the French!
  • A combined British and colonial force defeated two French forts near Nova Scotia.
  • France's Fort Duquesne soon belonged to Britain after many Indians deserted from the French after the British managed to cut off French shipping to the Americas.
  • We don't want to be with the French anymore.
  • You are no longer allowed to ship to the Americas
  • This paved the way for General James Wolfe to attack the stronghold of Quebec in 1759.
  • Off to Canada...
  • Along with the forts around the Great Lakes, the British captured Montreal.
  • The only option left is for you to surrender. So, give up the rest of Canda as well. 
  • The British have achieved their major goal in North America.
  • As a result of the British winning the French and Indian War, Canada, the Great Lakes region, the Ohio River valley, and Florida now belong to them.
