Today is your lucky day. YES
Can I get a job?
In 1438, there was a twelve year-old boy, named Charles Abram. He was poor and lived with his mother in Mainz, German. He wanted to work to make his mother happy because his father had died and Charles needed to take care of her. It was her birthday, November 16, and Charles told his mother that he was old enough to get a job.
I GOT A JOB!
In Germany it was hard trying to get a job. In my head I thought would I eventually get a job or be poor forever? As I walked into the one of the final stores I saw a old man. He made fun of me because I was poor. He made me leave!Click to Edit Description
Were going to see the Queen Eleanor
I CANT WAIT!!
I wanted the last store to hire me. All I wanted was a job and money. As I walked into the store their was a man with a long beard. It was very quiet in the room it was like he didn't notice I just walked into the room. He said "YES". I was so happy, I never have been so happy in my life until now.
Give us another chance please!
As I walked into the house my mom was at the table eating supper. We both cried of joy. That night was very emotional. I woke up very early to go to work. I knew that I was going to get paid well.
My heart stopped I was going to see the Queen in person. We were off into the wagon to see the Queen Eleanor.
I stayed still and as the Printing Press made a funny noise and next thing I know There's smoke everywhere. The Queen gave us another chance. As me and Johannes Gutenberg tested it the Queen was impressed.
