  • Here is your loan. Go buy the stocks now. 
  • Thank you.  I will pay you back when my stock price rises.
  • The stock market crashed! They're  going to take away my house and car!
  • X
  • I'm so sorry I can't pay back my loan. I lost everything when the market crashed.
  • CLOSED
  • Now the bank has no money. We are declaring bankruptcy and closing.
  • The bank gave out money to people so they could buy stocks. This was called buying on margin. The people were expected  to pay back the loan.
  • In 1929, the stock market crashed; all the investors  lost everything. Their homes, cars, and other personal items were taken. 
  • When the crash occured, everyone who borrowed money could no longer pay it back to the bank. Banks began to close because they didn't have money. The closings of banks   is one of the many factors that leads to the   Great Depression.
