The significance of the "Indian" Removal Act of the Southeast is that the Americans were able to kick Native Americans out of their land and force them to relocate. The natives, on the other hand, fought back leading to many hard wars and many tragic deaths.

The significance for the Texans is that they gained independence from Mexico even after they lost the battle of the Alamo. The significance for Mexico is that they lost Texas, and a lot of troop members due to the many battles they fought against Texas.
The Westward Expansion 1890
America was able to fulfil the theory of manifest destiny by acquiring Texas and California. On the other hand Mexico lost life, economic ruin, and a huge loss of property.
