Introduction: Rainsford a famous hunter is on a trip headed to Rio with a companion, but little they know they would encounter a tragic event once they have passed the sacred island called "Ship-Trap Island".
Exposition: All of a sudden a storm came so strong it made Rainsford fell over the boat. The boat was pushed farther because of the strong waves so instead Rainsford swam to the Island where he heard gunshots
Rising Action: Rainsford met another hunter General Zaroff and is curious of Zaroff's chateau. but rather repulsed when he found out that Zaroff's new interest to hunt is human beings. what's worse is that he is the new prey of Zaroff.
climax: Once the gun began Rainsford fall on the first day but Zaroff lets the prey free for a while then strikes again. But then Rainsford started to use his wits and experience killing off Zaroffs dogs Ivan, Zaroffs assistant.
Falling Action: By the third day Rainsford manage to survive and hid in Zaroff's room without his knowledge. Later Zaroff entered surprised to see Rainsford survived the 3 day hunt, and now it is Zaroffs turn to be the prey.
Conclusion: In the end both hunters had shown their experiences with internal and external conflict. Zaroff having a conflict with the lack of excitement in hunting and as for Rainsford the conflict is maintaining composure and surviving, but in the end Rainsford defeated Zaroff and now Survived in Ship-Trap Island.
