Scene 1: New resident is arriving at the nursing home with her daughter and son-in-law, feeling excited and optimistic about the new facility. Her furniture and heavy items have already been taken in and set up on a previous day by her daughter and some other family members.
WELCOME MS. ANNE
Scene 2: The receptionist sees Anne, the new resident and her family walking in, and quickly calls for the assisting nurse who would lead the admission process, as well as the assisting healthcare aid.
Scene 3: The other residents wait in the lobby and welcome Anne with gifts, as she comes into the facility with her family. Everyone is happy to meet Anne and her family.
Scene 4: The assisting nurse and HCA welcome Anne and her family, and go over some information to confirm Anne's identity, prior to going to her suite later for a head-to-toe assessment and review of other documents. The assisting PCA is also about to assist Anne's family to take her luggage into her suite.
Scene 5: In this scene, the primary nurse went to briefly welcome Anne and her family; and is currently paying attention to the needs of the other residents. As well, the primary PCA is happily taking a resident on a walk, to ensure her safety and prevent a fall.
Scene 6: In this scene, Anne has been taken into her suite for some privacy and further assessments and discussions, and to conclude the admission process with the nurse, along with her family.
