"The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" Storyboard
This storyboard does not have a description.
The Mariner and his crew left the port, and set sail for Antarctica to leave a dangerous storm.
They soon however find themselves stuck in a cold, perilous storm. With fog hindering their views, they seemingly had no options.
Just when they thought all hope was lost, an albatross showed up to guide them safely though the storm. He also provided the ship with the winds it needed to move along.
With no provided reasoning, the Mariner decides to shoot the albatross.
Once the bird died, the sailors lost their wind, it became unbearably hot, and they ran out of water. All of which they attributed to the loss of the albatross.
In order to remind him of his wrongdoing, the crew made the Mariner wear the dead bird around his neck.
