Storyboard Text

  • Ahh... Such a wonderful day! The  water is clear, the shore is clean... I'm so glad we live in such a tidy world!
  • Expectation
  • Ew, this is disgusting! All this rubbish has made the beach look gross.  Animals could mistake this trash for food! We really need to do something about this...
  • Reality
  • Garbage: General Rubbish, Meats/Bones, Food Scraps & Broken Glass ReCycle: Paper/Cardboard, Aluminium/ Steel Cans,  Containers, Glass Bottles, Milk and Juice Cartons & Ink Cartridges
  • If all of us pitch in by throwing away our rubbish, we will have a more clean & safe environment!
  • Solution 1.  Re-cycle or throw away!
  • 1. Only buy what you need 2. Use a compost bin 3. Put a "No Junk Mail" on your letterbox 4. Buy food without packaging 5. Avoid drinking from a straw, try drinking just from a cup
  • Hmm... Do I need this?... I won't eat it so there's no point in buying it! If I spend this than it will just be a waste of money and food. I think I'm going to put it back on the shelf.
  • Solution 2.  Reduce!
  • 1. Take reusable bags when you go shopping 2. Drink your coffee at the cafe or reuse a takeaway coffee cup 3. Use rechargeable batteries 4. Cardboard boxes can be used more than once 5. Re-use your old clothes into rags for cleaning the house! 6. Use an old toothbrush to clean dirty surfaces!
  • It was my brothers birthday! & instead of buying a bag to put the present in I just reused one I already had!
  • Solution 3. Re-use!
  • As your mum might say, "clean up your room"! We need to do the same for our world! We need to clean our world so then rubbish doesn't end up on our beaches in the second example!
