Storyboard Text

  • This s Eddie Carbone
  • This is Eddie's wife, Beatrice
  • This is their niece, Catherine
  • The Carbones lived in Red hook, Brooklyn. Eddie works as a longshoreman down by the docks.
  • Beatrice's cousins, Marco and Rodolpho come to stay in america after illegally immigrating from Italy. Marco needs money for his sick child and Rodolpho wants to be part of the american dream and live there forever.
  • Catherine is amused by Rodolpho's hair as it is unusually blonde. They start to catch feelings for eachother and Rodolpho takes Catherine to the theatre.
  • Eddie is very angry with their relationship because he doesn't want to loose his daughter and because he doesn't thing that Rodolpho is a 'properman'. He goes to Alfieri the lawyer but there is nothing he can do about it.
  • In the end, Eddie decides to snitch on Marco and Rodolpho for being illegal immigrants so that they will be sent back and Catherine can't be with Rodolpho. Luckily for them, Alfieri manages to bail them out until the trial.
  • Alfieri warns Marco and Rodolpho not to get into a fight while on bail, however Marco goes after Eddie in revenge. Unfortunately for him, Edddie pulls out a knife and stabs him. He dies in Beatrice's arms.
