Storyboard Text

  • Hahahaha. Why didn't you just say that? The Turtle Bayou Resolution started on June 12, 1832.
  • I am working on a project for Mr. Harris. He wants me to know when the Turtle Bayou Resolution started.
  • Mexican President Bustamante is so unknown and does not even follow thy own Mexican Constitution.
  • He promised us he would support it like we, Texans, do!  But, he is not following his promise therefore making him a man not of his word.
  • One Day Later...
  • We all are here today to declare our loyalty to Mexico! We,the Texans, support Santa Anna and  Mexico’s Federalists
  • Yes, but you dont need to apologize. The Turtle Bayou Resolutions has not ended according to all my research and reading of the time period during the  19th century.
  • I am so sorry to ask but do you also know when it happened to end?
  • I am just wondering more about the guy that started all this.Could you tell me more?
  • I was born on July 27, 1780 in Mexico. In 1808 I joined the Spanish military. In 1928 Bustamante was named vice president of Mexico. I had three terms with politics. People call me President Bustamante.
  • No problem. It is my privilege to teach you and show you the beautiful world history holds. I will see you next time you need help. Bye!
  • Thank you so much! This will surely help me with my project on Social Studies.
