Riley's neighbor texted her, telling her that there were cops in front of her house. Riley tells her friends but they didn't seem to care very much. Riley left the party and goes home.
Riley finds out her parents committed suicide. She couldn't believe it. She sat on the grass crying. An old police officer gave her the note from her parents. Uncle Owen came and picked her up from the horrible scene.
Owen picked Riley up. He drove home, while she only had one thought on her mind. Her 'parents' letter; it wasn't their handwriting. This thought was haunting her.
Riley stayed in bed for days. She was devastated. Owen came in and told her to get out of bed. He said that they were leaving. She had no clue what was going on.
Get out of bed. Pack your clothes. We are leaving now!
Riley and Owen drove to San Francisco. They stayed in a cheap hotel, and Riley wasn't allowed to leave. Riley found Owen's phone and found out he killed her parents. She confronted him about it.
You killed my parents! You! I can't believe you would do that!
Riley runs out of the hotel and to a cop car. She tells the cop everything that happened and who did it.
