Storyboard Text

  • This story is about seven faiths who share one major point that they believe is the foundation of their faith.
  • The most important thing in Sikhism is the internal religious state of the individual. Sikhs believe that the way to lead a good life is to: keep God in heart and mind at all times.
  • Sikhism focuses on unity with God. Sikhism instructs to be one with God through meditation and simple, ethical and moral lifestyle. While some religions practice animal sacrifice, fasts, pilgrimage, omens and other rituals, Sikhism instructs that there is no need for such ritual because we can meet God with pure love towards Him. This makes us different.
  • Our main goal is to avoid bad karma and achieve mukti.
  • Hinduism and Sikhism are similar in the fact that we all believe in karma and reaching murti (Salvation).
  • Belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit. The death, descent into hell, resurrection and ascension of Christ. The holiness of the Church and the communion of saints. Christ's second coming, the Day of Judgement and salvation of the faithful
  •  We Believe Jesus as the Son of God, and in his death and resurrection, they can have a right relationship with God whose forgiveness was made once and for all through the death of Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus Christ. He is the centre and foundation of the Christian faith, and He also is the reason why Christianity is different from all the other religions that people follow.
  • The main teachings of Judaism about God are that there is a God and there is only one God. Only God created the universe and only He controls it. Which is similar to Islam and many other religions.
  • On your right-hand side, there are the ten commandments which area set of rules or laws.
  • I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have any strange gods before me. Thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain. Thou shall keep holy the Sabbath day.Honour thy father and thy mother. Thou shall not kill. Thou shall not commit adultery. Thou shall not steal. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Thou shall not covet thy neighbour's wife. Thou shall not covet thy neighbour's goods.
