William and the other classmates savagely locked Margot in the closet.
Margot's classmates locked her in the closet. They didn't remember about her untill the sun was gone. That means Margot didn't get to see the sun.
The theme of the story is people are sometimes mean to people that are diffrent. An example of the theme is "They edged away from her;they would not look at her. This was because she never played any games with them. Margot was very diffrent from her other classmates.
One external conflict of the story is when Margot's classmates grabbed her and locked her into the closet. Margot was protesting for them to stop but they didn't listen.
One example of personification in the story is " I think the sun is a flower, that blooms for just one hour. I think this is personificattion because the sun does not bloom but flowers do. Margot gave the sun a trait of flowers. Also the sun can't just bloom for one hour but it is possible for a flower to though.
The resolution of the story is Margot's classmates finally let her out of the closet after the sun went down she she didn't get to see it.
