  • William and the other classmates savagely locked Margot in the closet.
  • Climax
  • Margot's classmates locked her in the closet. They didn't remember about her untill the sun was gone. That means Margot didn't get to see the sun.
  •                      Theme
  • The theme of the story is people are sometimes mean to people that are diffrent. An example of the theme is "They edged away from her;they would not look at her. This was because she never played any games with them. Margot was very diffrent from her other classmates.

  • External Conflict
  • One external conflict of the story is when Margot's classmates grabbed her and locked her into the closet.  Margot was protesting  for them to stop but they didn't listen.

  • One example of personification in the story is " I think the sun is a flower, that blooms for just one hour. I think this is personificattion because the sun does not bloom but flowers do. Margot gave the sun a trait of flowers. Also the sun can't just bloom for one hour but it is possible for a flower to though.

  • The resolution of the story is Margot's classmates finally let her out of the closet after the sun went down she she didn't get to see it.
