The Choragus tells Creon he thinks he is the rightful king and he would be a good ruler. Creon thanks him but tells him a king has to prove himself a good ruler and he hasn't yet but soon will.
The Sentry comes and tells the King that someone broke the law and buried Polyneices. When the King asks who was the man who buried Polyneices, the Sentry says no one knows The King gets mad and tells the Sentry to bring him the man who defied his orders and buried Polyneices.
The Choragus says that the laws should be followed because if they aren't then the city falls. Which wouldn't be good because they just finished a war. The Choragus says that the chorus and him will obey his commands and think that Creon will be a good leader.
