  • Julius Caesar
  • In this scene people are gathering in the streets of Rome to see Caesar and to rejoice in his triumph.Then Flavius and Marullus come and make them go back to work.
  • Go, go, good countrymen, and, for this fault, Assemble all the poor men of your sort; Draw them to Tiber banks, and weep your tears Into the channel, till the lowest stream Do kiss the most exalted shores of all.
  • But, indeed, sir, we make holiday, to see Caesar and to rejoice in his triumph.

  • Act 2: Rising Action
  • In this scene Calpurnia begs Caesar not to go out tonight because of her dreams. Caesar agrees with her. Then Brutus came and persuaded Caesar to go to senate.
  • If Caesar hide himself, shall they not whisper 'Lo, Caesar is afraid'? Pardon me, Caesar; for my dear love To our proceeding bids me tell you this; And reason to my love is liable.
  • What mean you, Caesar? think you to walk forth? You shall not stir out of your house to-day.

  • In this scene Anthony is on the floor crying when Caesar was killed.
