"VILLAINS!" i screemed. "Enough I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here,Here!"
The climax is basically the turning point in the story which means the "big" part in the story that you definetly want to remeber. In this story The Tell-Tale Heart the climax or turning point in the story would be the protagonist murduring the old man.
The falling action in any story is the part in the story which all of your inferences or questions are answered. In this story The Tell-Tale Heart my inferene was that te police would eventually come and they woul find the dead body under the loose planks for the floor. And eventually the police did come and in my head iwas thinking well now they will find the body.
In every story there is an end and the end of the story is called the resolution and sometimes in the resolution the outcome is clear. But at times the author of a story could leave you guessing on what will happen, usually with a saying of "to be continued". In this case in the story version of The Tell-Tale Heart the resolution isn't clear and ends with "it was the beating of his hideous heart!".
