Storyboard Text

  • Everyday we'd go out to hunt for buffalo. They move in herds, so it's easier to kill them
  • The Buffalo was a very important part to the metis society. Every single part of the buffalo was very useful to them
  • The meat of a buffalo was known as Pemmican. Pemmican was also another job for the Metis, they'd go around and try to convince people to buy them.
  • The skin of buffalo was used to make teepees, their bones were carved into knives or boiled to make glue.  Their horns and hooves were made into cups.
