  • the book, Small Acts of Amazing Courage    you  are able to read about Rosalind's experience as an English  girl living in India.   Since  the death of her brother, Edward, her mother has had many emotions. On the other hand her dad wants to send Rosalind  to England to get an education, just like the reasons they sent Edward.  But the mom always resists. She does not want to risk losing   another kid. Latter on she gets sent to England. She has many fun times there, spent with her two aunts , Ethyl  and  Louise. Soon she receives a letter from her father asking her to return to India . She soon returns, bringing her two aunts back with her so they can experience India for them selves.
  • Hi! my name is Rosalind. I am one   of the main characters in the book  Small Acts of  Amazing Courage.
  • Small Acts of Amazing Courage
  • I think the the true theme of this book , Small Acts of Amazing Courage  is that it does not matter if you are rich or poor, you should be treated equally.
  • One example proving that people should be treated equally, is when Rosalind bought a baby from a poor person. Shedidn't want its bones to be twisted for the poor person to make money.
  • Another  point in the book proving  that rich and poor should be treated the same  is  that all the maids are normally  poor and working for money while the people that are rich  don't need to work for money.
  • My final example is when Aunt Louise helps the baby at the orphanage.  She does this because she feels the baby deserves better and should be treated equally.
  • One of the themes of the book, is Equality. both rich and poor should be treated equal. the characters in the book helped prove this theme.
