- Skating With Geometry, By Obaid Syed
- Ha yeah couldn't let you down.
- While we are here. I had some questions laying around in my head. Would you like to anwser?
- Yeah! Keep them coming.
- In a right triangle the opposite being 10, The base angle being 51 degrees. Find the opposite and adjacent..
- adjacent= 10 / tan(51°) = 8.1opposite= 10 / sin(51°) = 13
- Ok round 2. The area of a right triangle is 400. The opposite is 2x. The hypotenuse is H and the adjacent is x. Find the lengths of all the sides.
- x = 20 , 2x = 40.(2x)^2 + (x)^2 = H^2H = x √(5) = 20 √(5).
- Ok last one then we'll go skate. if a opposite is 15, the adjacent x and the base angle 0.4. Find the adjacent.
- 0.4=x/15x=0.4 x 15= 6 cm
- Nice. Your on point with your math skills lets go skate!
- Yessir! Ok let go skate now.
