I can't believe that I got in! I don't think I'm gonna say yes though.
Rising Action: Meeting with Louise
"If that's what I have to do to get into the sorority, I'll do it."
"Tracy got too many black balls, you can't be seen with her anymore."
Conflict: "What did you eat for breakfast?"
"What did you eat for breakfast?"
Heather birds' eyebrows on toast.
Millicent is sitting in the basement, confused, she can't believe that she got into the sorority.
Climax: What about Tracey?
I can't believe it! I worked so hard to realize it isn't worth it!
Louise is telling Millicent about the "black ball" and how she can't be friends with Tracy anymore. The talked about it at the ice cream shop.
I have decided what to do.
Millicent meets a old man on the bus after asking what people had for breakfast. The man told her that he had "Heather Bird eyebrows on toast" which made her unsure about her choice to join the sorority.
Theme: Stay true to yourself
I'm gonna stay true to me!
Millicent is back in the basement, thinking about how she could still be friends with everyone, even Tracey!
Millicent hears a heather bird call, and realizes she wants individuality instead of joining the sorority.
The theme of the story is to always stay true to yourself because Millicent was selected to be apart of the Sorority group. Then she realizes she would have to leave her best friend, so she doesn't join the Sorority because then she can be sisters with everyone and friends with everyone. She doesn't have to be apart of that group, and she can still be friends with Tracy.
