  • We must exile or murder the man who killed king Laius
  • It was you!
  • Tell me who murdered Laius!
  • No Oedipus I am not!
  • You're plotting to overthrow me! That is why you came up with this lie
  • Oedipus is consulting his Brother/Uncle on what the oracle told them they must do in order to free themselves from the plague.
  • Oh no! What have I done!
  • You are Laius' child my lord.
  • Oedipus calls in Tiresias a blind prophet and demands the murderer to be announced. Tiresias tells Oedipus that it was him.
  • No Jocasta! Why?!?!?! *stabs eyes out*
  • *dead silence*
  • Oedipus is blaming Creon for the lie Tiresias has told him. He believes that his brother in law is trying to steal the crown from him and overthrow the throne
  • Be good my girls!
  • Oedipus finally realizes that he is the murderer of Laius and he must think of what actions to take in order to save his city
  • Oedipus discovers his mother wife dead in their living quarters. He stabs himself in the eyes and blinds himself so that he doesn't have to face the awful sight of her.
  • Oedipus says his last goodbyes to his two young daughters as he is being exiled into leaving Thebes forever.
