- Attack on ft. Sumter the starting of the civil war this was the whole reason the war happen After Lincoln was elected south succeeds and the north had troops in fort Sumter they needed supplies but they couldn't send it cause the south wouldn't allow it they sent it and started the civil war
- Battle of bull run the first major battle of the civil war were the union had a herd push attacked right off the start then the southern states got reinforcements from General stone wall Jackson then they had a really good counter attack and to force a retreat on the union It was a very long battle

- Ft. Henry US victory forced south out of Kentucky To make room for union re deploy took control of Ft. Donnell and Ft. Henry and KY river water way into the south
