Power of a Product- You keep base and add the exponents then keep base and multiply exponenets
Hey Mrs.Cook, can I explain what Power of a Product is to the class?... Okay I wrote some notes on the board.
(32*33)2=Keep the base add exponents, keep base multiply exponents then you get.....
I will sit down now but I put a problem on the board and all of you should work them out.
Okay tell the class.....
It is 38
I know the answer is correct because I kept the base and added the exponent then kept the base and multiplied the exponents.
When you talked about Power of a Product in class is that your favorite or is it a different one?
Well my favorite is Power of a Product because you get to apply the Product Rule and the Power to a Power Rule. My least favorite was probably the Power of a Quotient because it seems the most complicated because you have to distribute the power then find out if you have to subtract the exponents.
