I don't like how people are telling me that I'm so pretty I am more than that.
"Hello my name is Grace Wexler."
No uh . . . English
okay goodbye got to go to work.
Identity was part of the theme in the Westing Game because Grace hid her real name because she thought that it was a ugly name. Also Angela when people just saw her as a pretty face but she wanted to be something more. It showed that you should be yourself.
Why do I have to be a pretty face not just a normal girl
Angela, you are so beautiful
Social class was part if the theme because Madame Hoo was chines and people thought that she wasn't intelligent because she couldn't speak very well in English
A possible theme is family because in the first part of the story it talks how the wexlers where not happy family. Angela was unhappy because people saw her as just a pretty face. But then in the end they are more closer than in the beginning
Angela would be an example of aperance because people saw her and said that she was just a a pretty face and she didn't need anything. But she wanted to be more than a pretty face so she became a bomber so that people could see that she's more than just her aperance.
Turtle Wexler and Flora Baumbach's friendship could be a part of the theme because in the beginning of the story they weren't close at all but then they were really close together. But Turtle also had a relationship with almost all the characters.
Education played along in the theme because Judge Ford wouldn't have an education without Mr. Westing because he payed for it. Education is important and you should be grateful that we have it. On the other hand Madame Hoo didn't learn English and didn't have much of an education.
