- Nonviolent protests can be many different categories. A popular one would be a cultural and/or religious protest. Theses women are protesting the treatment of their culture peacefully.
- Nonviolent protests can also be on less a less dramatic scale. Such as people protesting the school hours outside of a school. These people do not throw rocks or scream but they do get the point across.
- Another example of a nonviolent protest would be a equal rights for women movement. They would do this with their voices and signs but without displaying acts of violence.
