The theories have their own differences. Piaget believed that limitations are based on what developmental stage the child is in and discontinuous to changes in thinking.
What about the other theories Michael?
Sir, in Information Processing Approach, it states that limitations are based on continuous changes in memory capacity and knowledge based. IP approach contrast also Socio-cultural Theory which development relies heavily on nurture( social interaction) . IP approach says that development proceeds according to a single course and the increase is abilities is due to nature (brain development) .
