Storyboard Text

  • Throughout the whole week I was nothing but kinder to the old man, for the next seven long nights he would anticipate his own death.
  • On the eighth night, I watched him sleep peacefully in his bed until he long awaits his own murder.
  • It was his vulture eye that made me see evil and have the thirst to execute the old man.
  • I removed the bed and examined the corpse. Yes, he was stone, stone dead
  • As the bell sounded the door, there came a knocking at the street door. I went down to open it with a light heart-for what I had now to fear?
  • I could bear those hypocritical smiles no longer! I felt that I must scream or die!-and now again! hark! louder! louder! louder! louder!
