Storyboard Text

  • In the exposition of "Chinese Cinderella" we learn that Adeline is a very smart child as effect of winning a medal for being the top of the class. We also learn that Aunt Baba seems to care for Adeline.
  • Good afternoon Adeline. I see you have a golden necklace on. What is it for and how did you get it?
  • I got it for being the top of my class!
  • The rising action of "Chinese Cinderella is shown when the original set of children from their father plot to show their father that Niang treats them unfairly but didn't know that Niang was listening.
  • They have no idea I know and I must turn Big Sister to my side.
  • We can't stand the unfairness and inequality shown by Niang. She shows favoritism and we must stop this.
  • The conflict in "Chinese Cinderella would be Man vs Man because the conflict to Adeline is how Niang is very mean and doesn't ever except her. She makes her feel very sad.
  • I'm the queen in this house and I have all the power. Yo are nothing to me or this family.
  • AW
  • Hi Adeline. I'm very proud that you have won the play writing competition and I will let you go to college.
  • The climax of "Chinese Cinderella" would be how Adelines parents decide to send her away for boarding school because they think she isn't important.
  • Adeline is nothing and she isn't important. We don't need her and must send her away.
  • Aw.
  • Adeline is very sad and now feels that there is no hope even though she has entered a cmpetition. Niang has made her have to leave school to work after the school year.
  • Come on Adeline. Your driver is picking you up.
  • I wonder why.
  • The resolution of the story "Chinese Cinderella" would be that her father wants her to come home and is very proud that she had won the play writing competition. He also lets her go to college.
