Scene 3: Macbeth receives a report on Malcolm's advance. The doctor also notifies him of Lady Macbeth's condition. He says that her problems are psychological. Macbeth tells him to do everything he can to cure her.
Seyton has confirmed all the rumours and Macbeth is willing to fight back as soon as he can and the meantime Macbeth asks the doctor whats been going on with his wife.
Scene 4: Malcolm and his troops are at Birnham Forest. Malcolm orders his men to chop down branches for camouflage. He does not want Macbeth to know how many men are behind him.
