  • I have exciting news! Guess what? Justin Timberlake is performing his concert at the dance studio this evening!  I can't wait to see you at 5:00!
  • UH OH! (whispers softly)
  • 2. What are your choices? (Consequences)
  • Ah! I would love to get an A plus on my science project, BUT...
  • What are your choices? (Consequences)
  • Wow, there he is, in person! Eeeek! He's one cool dude...
  • Jessie has to complete a science project, in order to get an A and improve her grade, however her friend, Melinda's calling her over to a dance, where Justin Timberlake will be performing.
  • What are your choices? (Consequences)
  • Or, I can call Melinda over to help me with my science project! 
  • Jessie can complete her science project, and not attend the dance...         Positive consequences-Jessie can get an A, which will satisfy her parents/teachers, she will feel happy, she will focus more on academics      Negative consequences-Melinda will be disappointed, Melinda will wonder why, and their friendship might be over

  • Jessie asks her mom to help her think upon her choices.  Her mother feels that education is more important that going to a concert.  She's okay with calling Melinda over to her house.  Melinda is okay with coming to help Jessie.
