  • Your son will either be a king or spiritual leader
  • My son will be a KING!
  • Siddhartha Gautama was very wealthy in his childhood due to being the prince of Nepal. Siddhartha was predicted by a fortune teller to either be a powerful king or a religious spiritual leader.
  • Yea sure totally
  • You must not eat to pay pleasure and gratefulness to our god.

  • Siddhartha was very well taught and he may have been overprotected in order to become a king. Siddhartha was never to see sorrow and grief in the world, when Siddhartha would go outside in his chariot, the guards made sure no beggars or poor people were around so Siddhartha did not see anything.
  • One day Siddhartha went out on his own to see if happiness was  the truth. Siddhartha found and old man on a stick, a dead man, a man shrunken with disease,  and a wandering holy man finding peace.
  • Siddhartha wanted to find what truth was is it was not happiness. Siddhartha wandered the streets like a holy man and tried different religions to find what truth was. In the religious practices he tried, the truth was never revealed.
  • Siddhartha was encouraged to continue his search and that is when he found the tree of knowledge. Through spiritual lessons and thoughts, Siddhartha, fortuned to be a spiritual leader became Buddha.
  • Buddha was now a very important man that spread his religion through lots of Asia. Buddha welcomed his family into his religion and he was now known as the enlightened one. Buddha spread his religion and followers later become known as Buddhists and the legendary story of Buddha named his religion Buddhism.
