  • Hi
  • Good morning Clarrise and Marco!!
  • Hi Mrs. Sinksoap.
  • Yay! Can you give us the definitions?
  • An element is the simpleast form of matter that cannot be broken down any further.  And an example on an element is Carbon (C), and it is an element because there is only one capital letter.
  • Today we will talking about elements, compounds, and molecules.
  • OHHH! So like water, since water is classified as H2O and has 2 capitlal letters it is a compound.
  • Now, a compound is formed when 2 or more atoms of 2 or more elements are combined.
  • A molecule is 2 or more atoms held together by a chemical bond.   An example would be NaCl, which is salt.  Eventhough salt is a compound, it is still a moleclue because there is more than one .
  • And last but not least, molecules.
  • Yes you may Clarise.
  • Mrs. Sinksoap, may I give the definition of molecule.
  • HEY I HEARD THAT!!!! 20 HOUR DENTENTION FOR YOU!!!!!!!!
  • Sure if fun is what you want to call it.
  • OHH MY!!! Look at the time, you know what they say.  TIme flies when you are having fun!  Have a good day students.
  • HA HA HA HA AH
  • Now, you can leave Clarise.  But I have some beef with Marco.
  • Bye!!
