For centuries, the Mongols had controlled the Chinese people. However in the early 1300s, a poor peasant named Hong Wu remove the Mongol Dynasty. Hong Wu work to regenerate the Chinese dynasty by establishing a capital in Nanjing and naming his dynasty region for centuries, by helping China to reclaim the world significance.
Under Hong Wu, the regional government was reorganized and reformed. They put in place a new tax system, new law codes were apply and Confucianism, and the reforms which brought peace and economic success.
The Ming Dynasty had many exploration with a brave adventurous sailor, Zheng He, this brave man when around the Indian Ocean to Africa. He help the emperor bringing trade, food, and animals for the emperor. Zheng He helped the Chinese develop as a sea power.
Under the rule of Yong Le, this man were hiring scholars for a library and other forms of interests for their people to have different opportunity in their life.
Under Yong Le, he moved the capital to Beijing and build a palace in the Forbidden City. As years pass by, Yong Le stayed in the Forbidden City. Rarely did the work necessary to rule the empire, weakening the dynasty and opening the region to overthrown by the Manchus.
With the Ming Dynasty weakening by weak rulers, the Manchus were able to easily take control of China. These newcomer expanded their empire slowly and animate Chinese traditions to help keep the collaboration of their Chinese Population.
