This is what the Vietnam War was like the person in the back is a Vietnamese soldier. The Vietnamese soldiers used a military strategy called Guerilla Warfare which they hid in trees. North Vietnam ended up winning the war because the American soldiers weren't used to fighting in the jungle.
The Berlin Airlift
This is the space race. During the space race the two superpowers which were America and the Soviet Union they wanted to get into space before the other. The Soviet Union had the first satellite and it was called sputnik.
The Korean War
This is the Berlin Wall. Berlin Was seperated from east to west and the east was communist and the west was democratic. Many people in the east had very limited rights and would try to take down the berlin wall and flee to the east. This leads to the fall of the Soviet Union.
The Truman Doctrine
The Berlin Airlift was when people would drop supplies to people in Berlin, Germany. There was a man who dropped chocolate to kids because the kids of west berlin couldn't get chocolate.
This is the Korean War the Korean War was between North and South Korea. North and South Korea was divided by the 38th parallel. North Korea was communist and South Korea was democratic.
This is the Truman Doctrine. The Truman Doctrine pumped 400 million dollars to country's that the U.S wanted to become Communist. What the USSR did to counter the U.S was giving scholarships to kids in Africa.
