- Today I have come to these territories that I have inherited from my grandparents the Catholic kings, Castilla and Aragon
- The territory of Carlos I
- Isabella, our empire is immense Naples, The Netherlands, Austria and some in France as well as the America colonies
- Carlos I was the grandson of the Catholic Monarchs , the son of Juana I and Felipe I, and the grandson of Emperor maximilian of Habsburg. He was born in 1500

- In Spain he has to figth againts the Comuneros, a group of people who ejecuted the new foreing king

- He fought agaist protstans in Germany and agaist the turkish Muslims who wanted to conquer Europe
- He died in 1558 for making a daily intake of beer and meat in exorbitant amounts-which ended his life
