Victor Frankenstein is found frozen near the north pole. Walton and his crew decide to aid the man and he tells Walton an amazing story about his life.
Frankenstein tells about his creation and how it horrified him so he abandoned it. This enraged the creature and it set out on a path for revenge, starting off by killing Frankenstein's little brother.
A promise Victor made to the creature for peace was that he would do was to create the creature a partner. After Victor failed to do this, the creature went on a rampage killing anyone close to VIctor, his wife, and his best friend.
In anger, Victor chases the creature far into the north, reaching the part in the story that has become real-time, frozen and dying aboard Walton's ship.
After Victor has died, the creature appears to admit that he was wrong with what he did and that he will kill himself to end all of the madness he had created so that it would never happen again.
