Hey! Did you know that the NHTSA said that our state North Dakota had the most alcohol related traffic injuries last year?
Okay but why should I care?
You are obviously drinking too much and you need to know about the consequences to your actions.
Yeah... also, last year in Utah, there were the least amount of alcohol related causalities.
I think I remember hearing that Texas had the most alcohol related causalities with a BAC of .15% or more in 2017.
Last year, 220 children 14 or younger died in alcohol-caused car crashes. A little more than half of those deaths were in the car with a driver with a BAC of .08 or higher. About 32% that died were in other vehicles while 13% were non-occupants such as pedestrians, bicyclists and others. 2% of the children were actually drivers.
And... I bet you didn't know that, in 2008, 21-24 year olds had the highest amount of drivers with BACs of .08 or higher in fatal crashes.
Wow. That's crazy. I guess that younger people need to be more aware of their drinking habits.
That includes you too. Research the consequences and be more aware of your drinking habits and actions.
