- I'm tired of this. Send for Abigail and the others!
- Mary Warren confesses that all the girls were just pretending the whole time and Danforth questions Proctor about whether he has told the village.
- Bring in Elizabeth
- HE LIES!
- Abigail is a whore! I committed adultery!
- Danforth begins to throw accusations at Proctor, but Proctor says that all he cares about is trying to save his wife.
- No, I only fired Abigail because she was a bad servant.
- Elizabeth did Abigail have relations with Proctor!
- NOOOOO!!! I confessed!!!
- Take her away!
- After Danforth questions Proctor and the other men for awhile, he sends for Abigail and the others to see if Proctor and Mary Warren's claims are true.
- After Abigail continues to pretend she is bewitched, Proctor finally admits to having an affair. Danforth asks for Elizabeth to see if Proctor is being truthful.
- Elizabeth doesn't know Proctor confessed, so she lies to Danforth. Proctor says he confessed but Danforth will not let her change the story so they are both arrested.
