  • The Pony Express delivered letters and goods to people who need them. They delivered letters by Horseback.

  • The Pony Express riders had to change horses every 10-15 miles.
  • Most of the men that were riders on the Pony Express were 18 and over.
  • But they quickly went out of business.
  • BUT THAT WAS ONLY 18 MONTHS OF WORK!
  • They went out of business because the telephone pole was invented, and the Transcontinental Railroad was built, and cars were made.
