Storyboard Text

  • What should I do? The Catholics don't want me as king of France.  As a Catholic, what do you suggest I shall do to be accepted?
  • I recommend that you become Catholic to be accepted by your people.
  • I will do anything that I can to be accepted.  Even if it means converting into a Catholic, although I will never forget my previous religion. I will honor them.
  • I'm sorry that people don't accept you as a protestant king, but becoming Catholic is the only way you can rule your country in peace.
  • I shall allow all nobles to preach your religion freely without consequences.
  • My King, how will you honor us, the Protestants?
  • Huguenot nobles discussing the kings proposal...
  • What do you think about the kings proposal?
  • I believe that it sounds fair as long as he keeps his promise.
  • Huguenots and Catholics, I am now a Catholic but I vow  to keep my promise of never forgetting my previous religion.  Nobles, you are free to preach Protestantism!!
  • Yes, I am free!!!
